The Baby Einstein Company is an American company of children goods founded in 1996 by Julie Aigner-Clark, an American mother who didn't find appropriated goods for her young daughter.

The company's name honors Albert Einstein who is considered as a huge art lover and a huge genius while keeping a huge sensibility and curiosity, just like a child.

In 1997 she produces a video on the language learning for infants.

On November 6th 2001, the company was redeemed by Walt Disney Company which developed the existent range of goods and created a new range Little Einstein for 3 to 5 years old kids. TV shows for age groups covered by Baby Einstein and Little Einstein exist on Disney Channel.

Baby Einstein goods are designed from a baby point of view and concentrated on 5 main ideas: music, art, language, nature and shapes and numbers.
